In a small village lost in the forest. of Friuli, a tanatoesteta tries to regain possession of the only book that allows him to communicate with his deceased brother. village Archpriest, the witches of the woods and an exhibition of funerary art throws a monkey wrench in the works. With the unintentional help of two women trying to trick him, our tanatoestete manages to realise that, rather than talking to the dead, he would benefit more from learning how to relate to the living.
